Tyndale Welcomes Students

Welcome to Reading! Whether you’re here for undergraduate or postgraduate studies, we hope your time in this town is enriching, joyful, and full of wonderful experiences.

Who Are We?

We are Tyndale Baptist Church — an evangelical, multicultural church located on Cressingham Road, a few minutes walk from the University of Reading. We are a family‑sized congregation of around 35–40 people on a typical Sunday, and we are intentional about building meaningful relationships and, even more importantly, growing disciples of Jesus Christ.  If you are looking for a community of Christians of various ages and ethnicities, search no further!

One of the things that makes us unique is our commitment to partnering with other Christians in doing kingdom work here in Reading. We have active links with local churches and Christian organisations such as Transform Reading, Friends International, and even the Christian Union on your campus.

Come Worship with Us

We warmly invite you to join us every Sunday at 10:30 am for our worship service, which lasts about 90 minutes. You’re welcome to stay afterwards for refreshments and fellowship. Whether in worship or in community, we believe you will experience God’s presence at Tyndale.

Once again, whether you are a new or returning student, we welcome you to Reading and wish you every blessing for the year ahead.

With lots of love,

Tyndale Baptist Church
